Video Chat
Skype is the officially-recommended video chat provider for Darts Atlas, but you can easily use any of the common alternatives such as Google Hangouts, Zoom, FaceTime, and Discord if you prefer.
- Create a free Microsoft account if you don’t already have one
- Download Skype on the Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS device you’ll be using for your video calls
- Sign in to the Skype application you just downloaded
- Get your friends’ Skype email address and invite them to a video call to play socially-distant, Corona-responsible steel-tip darts

Smartphones and High-Definition (1080p) computer webcams work equally well for delivering your board video feed. The products below can help you decide on the perfect setup for your board.
- Logitech C615 Webcam (for webcam + computer configuration)
- Amazon 60-inch tripod (for floor-standing camera setup)
- Smartree Flexible Mount (for elevated camera setup)
Even though the product says it is for Logitech webcams, its universal 1/4” threading should work on any standard webcam that has a threaded bottom. - Cell Phone Tripod Adapter
If you are mounting a phone on either of the mounts above, you will require a phone clamp adapter like this one. There are many similar adapters, so we recommend that you take note of the position of your phone’s buttons before choosing one in order to make sure that the adapter can be positioned around them. - Gooseneck Phone Holder · Tablet Holder
This is an alternative to Smartree mount + adapter for smartphone- or tablet-based video capture. - USB 9.8ft Extension Cable
Use a USB extension cord if you need to power a smartphone or tablet positioned far from the nearest power source.
